What you will learn
Each graduate will have a different learning experience, depending on the field they enter into in the organisation. We provide a challenging environment and the possibility of diverse opportunities within any of our well-known brands.
All graduates, however, will gain insight in to business, retail operations and business management in general. Specifically, chartered accountants will be exposed to the financial running of the largest retailer in Africa; pharmacists will be exposed to the running of a pharmaceutical entity within a retailer; and retail business management graduates will be directly involved in the day-to-day operations of our stores.
Your career growth at Shoprite is largely dependent on your drive to “be more” in the work environment. A graduate can develop into a variety of specialist roles or into supervisory or managerial positions. There are endless opportunities in the group and it is up to the graduate to work diligently towards their desired goal.
They should be open to opportunities and should engage in the organisation’s current and future projects and vision. A job at Shoprite Group is not just a job, but a lifestyle. It’s incredibly demanding, but incredibly rewarding and exciting at the same time.
